A 43-year-old woman, Gift Jonathan, has been arraigned before an Apapa, Lagos, Magistrate’s Court for conducting herself in a disorderly manner.
The accused person was said to have committed the offence on May 11, 2018.
The Investigating Police Officer, Sergeant Paul Ayepeku, brought the suspect before the court.
According to the charge brought against the accused by the prosecutor, Inspector Edet Ekpo, “You, Gift Jonathan ‘f’, on the 11th day of May, 2018 at about 14.30 hrs at Dillion Street, Kirikiri Town in Apapa Magisterial District did conduct yourself in a disorderly manner that is likely to cause breach of peace and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 168 (1) of Criminal Laws of Lagos State of Nigeria,
2015.”
The accused person pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The magistrate, N.A. Layeni, granted the accused person bail in the sum of N50, 000.00.
