Fabulous and stylish are the words that aptly describe leading female comedian and actress, Wofai Egu, popularly known as Wofaifada.
Before she was recently tagged the Instagram comedy goddess, Wofaifada, had already carved a niche for herself in the Nigerian entertainment world.
Regarding her style or fashion, the University of Calabar graduate, however, tells The Point that a good dress sense complements talents.
She says, “Though talent is great and can easily open ways of success to one in life, by complementing it with good fashion and dress sense, the journey to success will be easier”.
Egu, who is currently rated as the most followed Nigerian Female comedian on Instagram, also shares her views about her job, which essentially entails making people happy and laugh.

For her, comedy and laughter are antidotes to the stress occasioned by the parlous and unpleasant economic situation that has reduced Nigerians to something else.
“Comedy in this country is an antidote to save our people from the hardship we are all facing in this country.
That is why you will see people going to the cinemas to watch comedy.
Medical science has proved this, and I always encourage people on this,” she says.
Being the last child in a family of five, Egu says her family, particularly her mother has been her major inspiration and closest friend.
Egu began her career as a model in 2005, organizing major beauty pageants in her home state of Cross River. The damsel was born and bred in Calabar, the state capital.
She attended the Federal Government Girls’ College, Calabar, before proceeding to study Zoology/Environmental Biology at the University of Calabar.
