Speaking at the event, the Guest Lecturer, Ustadh Ismail Ashafa urged the students to keep learning  good things as knowledge is the lost property of the believers. “If your level of knowledge of yesterday is still at par with today, then you are missing out on certain things. As young ones, you must be learning at least five new words per day. Know their usage, root and other aspects of grammar. Same attitude you should have towards your Quran study.”

Also speaking, the National Education Officer of TMC, Alhaji AbdurRahmon Animashaun advised the students to have excellent competitive spirit because it will make them better persons and be ready to learn great new things always by reading good, quality books.

In her goodwill message, the Chairperson, Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, Lagos Chapter, Hajia Sekinah Lawal called on the students to always aim high in life and have the determination to always excel in all their endeavor, reach the peak of their career and shun all forms of distractions that are so rampant in the society such as cultism, drug abuse among others. “With seriousness and strong determination, you can be the best in whatever career you wish to pursue. You only need to be focused and serious with your studies and your deen.” She concluded.
