Minister of Information and Culture, Alhaji Lai Mohammed has blamed the economic situation in the country as one of the reasons responsible for the non payment of the allowances of Super Falcons’ players and officials.
The victorious Falcons have not been paid. To this end, they refused to vacate their hotel in Abuja on Tuesday.
There are reports that the players were offered N50,000 each which they rejected but demanded all their outstanding allowances.
