Are Tekno and Lola Rae still dating? Anyway, when it was discovered that the two of them were dating, they became a trending couple immediately, as they had both already found fame, individually.
The only difference was that Tekno was and is still more famous than her. Yet, Lola is not a pushover, having had major league collaborations with Davido, Tiwa Savage, Mi Casa, Sarkodie and is very attractive and beautiful, to boot.
The only problem is that she has not been able to score a real mainstream hit in Nigeria. That’s not for lack of trying, though. She’s put in her best. Big budget videos by Clarence Peters, media interviews, performances and generally everything an artiste has to do to become successful.
So, that brings up the question of what Tekno will do for her music career, apart from giving her a shout out in his hit song, Go.
If you must know, Tekno it was that made Chocolate City artiste, Victoria Kimani, a success. When Kimani was struggling to have a hit, Tekno it was that came through for her with Show. When the hits seemed to have dried up for Ice Prince, Tekno brought him back with Boss, same way he restored Bracket’s glory with Panya and also ensured DJ Cuppy’s first song, Green Light, was an instant success.
Probably the biggest song last year, Davido’s Fia, was also produced by him.
So, when will he bring his magic to bear on Lola Rae’s career?
She deserves to have a smash hit and it’ll just be a shame if Tekno doesn’t do for her what he has done for many others.
