The Association of Aka Bu Eze Ndigbo in Ado-Igbesa, Ado Odo/Ota Local Government Area of Ogun State, has thrown its weight behind Senator Adeola Solomon Olamilekan, popularly known as Yayi for the governorship position in the state in 2019.
The group made the declaration during one of their meetings, which took place at Sidben Hotel, along Alapoti -Lusada road, during weekend when a state House of Assembly aspirant, Hon. Sunmonu Segun, paid them a visit.
According to the Chairman of the association, Mr. James Ikechukwu Ijeoma, the group is irrevocably committed to supporting Yayi to realise his governorship ambition in 2019.
Ijeoma explained that the group had been with Senator Adeola Solomon (Yayi) from Lagos State, adding that they would do everything possible to ensure his victory in next year’s governorship poll.
The Chairman also said that the deplorable state of road in their area was of major concern to them and would want the lawmaker to intervene, if he’s elected the state governor in 2019.
He accused both the past and present administrations in the state of merely paying lip service to the rehabilitation of the road begging for urgent attention.
The state House of Assembly aspirant, Hon Sunmonu Segun, responded by thanking the Igbo people for given him the opportunity to attend their meeting.
