Nigerian forward Victor Boniface scored another brace with Bayer Leverkusen as his side defeated Heidenheim 4-1 on Sunday afternoon to keep pressure on Bayern Munich on the table.
The 22-year old touched the ground running with Leverkusen after joining them from Belgian side Union Saint-Gilloise.
Boniface opened the scoring for his side in the 9th minute but the opposite side equalized in the 58th.
Jonas Hofman restored the lead for Leverkusen five minutes later and Victor Boniface made it 3-1 from the penalty spot in the 74th minute.
This is the 6th league goal of Boniface in Bundesliga this season which makes of him the third highest scorer behind Harry Kane (7) and Guinea’s Seyrou Guirassy.
