A retired school principal in Imo State, Mr. Stephen Nnadi, has committed suicide following his inability to cope with state government’s alleged failure to pay his pension and gratuity.
According to a former deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, Chief Emeka Ihedioha, who spoke to our correspondent, Nnadi could no longer bear the hardship due to the non-payment of pension and arrears of the retirees in the state.
