Governor David Umahi has congratulated Rev. Fr. Abraham Nwali, the
Catholic Judicial Vicar of Abakalki Diocese on his emergence as the South East Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria.
Until his election, Fr. Nwali was the Ebonyi State Chairman of the CAN.
In a congratulatory message signed personally by the governor, he assured the new chairman of the warm regards, best wishes and unflinching solidarity of the government and people of Ebonyi State.
“I am pleased to convey the felicitations of the government and people
of Ebonyi State to the Judicial Vicar of Abakaliki Catholic Diocese, and Chairman, Christian Association of Nigeria, (CAN) Ebonyi State Chapter, Very Rev. Fr. Dr. Abraham Chukwuma Nwali on his successful election as the Chairman, South East Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
“We thank God Almighty for His grace and favour upon you and for the rare privilege He has bestowed upon you to serve humanity in this
capacity. We have no doubt that you will reign in righteousness and passion to the glory of His holy name. As you lead the family of God
in Christendom, we pray God to keep you in His care and faithfulness
and bless your tenure with bountiful accomplishments.
