Former Under-17 Assistant coach, Nduka Ugbade, has said that Victor Osimhen will make good impact with his club, Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga.
He described Osimhen‘s decision to joining Wolfsburg as a step towards achieving his aims and objectives in Germany.
The youngster joined Die Wolfe in 2016 but was allowed to sign a professional contract in January 2017 after he turned 18.
Osimhen’s progress at the German Bundesliga side was halted by a knee injury that had him appear only twice for Andries Jonker’s side last season.
However, ex-international, Victor Agali, who played in Germany with Hansa Rostock and Schalke 04, also believes the mentality at the Volkswagen Arena would help the striker achieve his full potential.
He said, “He made a perfect move. I know Wolfsburg as a team and also, as a player with Schalke,” Agali said.
“I’ve always been afraid playing against Wolfsburg because it has always been a tough match for me and I know their mentality. I hope they still have that mentality. If he’s patient, he will serve this country. I’ve seen Osimhen play; he has the quality of a good striker; stay around the box, be patient, look for your chance and score.”
