An early morning fire has gutted Akere Spare Parts market in Olodi-Apapa, Ajegunle area of Lagos State.
The market, mostly populated by Igbo traders, was gutted by the inferno, destroying goods and properties worth millions of naira.
The cause of the fire is still unknown as of the time of filing this report.
According to reports, the fire started around 3:am on Wednesday and consumed many shops in the environment.
Traders whose shops and wares were affected by the disaster wept uncontrollably as firefighters battle to put out the fire.
