The Chairman of the Arewa Group in Lagos State, Alhaji Dandama Abdullahi, has said that the leadership style of the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, has promoted unity across the country.
Abdullahi also described Tinubu as a father to all the Hausa people in Lagos.
He stated this while speaking with our correspondent in his office in Lagos.
The Arewa chairman, who is also an APC stalwart in Lagos, said that Tinubu’s leadership style had ensured unity among Nigerians at so many levels.
He added that people from the Northern part of Nigeria living in Lagos had been learning a lot of from Tinubu’s leadership style.
Abdullahi said, “He is person who does not seek personal accolades. He takes us as his children in this state and we are grateful to him. “The test of a successful leader is in the number of leaders that he has created.
In this regard, Asiwaju is a winner at all levels. Apart from his Yoruba people, he has raised so many leaders among the Arewa people, too, and we respect him a lot for that”.
He, however, implored Tinubu not to relent in his good work of promoting peace among all Nigerians, saying his influence was being felt beyond the Yoruba nation.
The Arewa group leader also pleaded with all Northerners living in Lagos to continue to contribute their quota to the progress of the state as a means of appreciating the worth of the APC national leader.
