The Federal Capital Territory Joint Task Force has arrested suspects in connection with stolen manholes in the nation’s capital.

They were arrested on Sunday after the team stormed the Kabusa Pantaker Market.

While briefing the press, the FCT administration’s Secretary, Command and Control Centre, Peter Olumuji, explained that the activities of these scavengers are causing grave danger to the lives of residents who ply the roads.

Though he did not disclose the number of persons arrested, he stated that several car parts were also recovered during the operation.
