The Acting Governor of Edo State, Philip Shaibu, has mourned the demise of the federal lawmaker representing Egor/lkpoba-Okha Constituency at the House of Representatives, Jude lse – ldehen.
The Acting Governor, in a condolence message he personally signed, described lse – ldehen as a tested and trusted legislator who connects very well with the people, irrespective of gender, tribe or political affiliation.
According to Shaibu,” lse – ldehen was a shining example of a loyal party man, who passionately connected with his constituents at the grassroots, irrespective of their status, sex, ethnicity or political leanings
“I received the sad news of his death with rude shock.lndeed, his sudden demise is a monumental loss to the good people of Egor/lkpoba-Okha Constituency, Edo State indeed, the National Assembly.”
He added: “Permit me to commiserate with his family, friends, teeming supporters, especially the good people of Egor/ Ipkoba Okha Local Governments, the PDP family and the political associates for the irreparable loss of a gentleman par-excellence, a responsible family man and a Nigerian patriot.
“It is my sincere prayers that God Almighty grants the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the loss at this trying moments. Let me admonish the loved ones and family members to keep his memory alive by sustaining the enduring legacies he left behind.
“May the soul of our dearly beloved brother and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace, Amen.”
