A Rivers State High Court, sitting in Port Harcourt, has sentenced serial killer, Gracious David-West, to death by hanging.
David-West had earlier been charged with 10 counts of murder and attempted murder.
The notorious killer had been found guilty of the multiple murder of several females in hotels across the state.
Justice Enebeli passed the judgment based on evidence from David-West’s CCTV footage as well as his voluntary confession.
He was found to be guilty of the murder of Maureen Ewuru, Jennifer Nwokocha, Blessing Effiong Linda Warifa Samuel, Dorcas Francis, Kelechi Bridget, Onuoha Rose, and Samuel Anthonia Ibe.
He was also found to be guilty of the attempted murder of Benita Etim.
