The All Progressives Congress candidate for Lagos East Senatorial District, Hon. Bayo Osinowo, has pledged adequate representation of the people of his senatorial district at the Senate and proper delivery of dividends of democracy if elected as the next senator of the district.

Osinowo had served four successful terms at the Lagos State House of Assembly, representing Kosofe Constituency I.

The senatorial candidate, at a Town Hall meeting, organised by Team Pepper Mobilisation Committee for Kosofe stakeholders, said his wealth of experience would help him to meet the expectations of his people.

At the event, tagged, “Pepperito Meets Kosofe Stakeholders,” several stakeholders of the senatorial district were present, including traditional and religious leaders, artisans, students, among others.

“The Hall meeting is to feel the pulse and the needs of the people of the district again before proceeding to represent them at the Senate,” Osinowo, said.

The lawmaker, popularly known as Pepperito, said his intention was to pursue only the wishes of the people and put smiles on their faces if he emerged the winner in the February 16 polls.

Osinowo, who appreciated the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, for the immense efforts at growing the party and Lagos State, maintained that Yoruba states had been known to be progressives since the days of MKO Abiola.

He said, “APC has been moved from the mud, it is now rebranded. We appeal to all CDAs, CDCs, students, youths, market men and women to keep supporting the progressives. Without you, we are nothing and cannot achieve anything. Please open your eye when casting your votes and when votes are being counted.

“My interest is to help humanity more at the Senate and I want to assure everyone of the dividends of democracy. I will not disappoint your trust in me.”

The senatorial candidate, however, urged the people to vote rightly in order to reduce the number of void votes during elections.

The Chairman, Tactical Committee of the Hon. Bayo Osinowo Campaign Organisation, Mr Sanai Agunbiade, said the candidate had helped a lot of people at the state level, and that his aspiration for Senate would bring a lot of fortunes to them.
