Former Enyimba and Mosta FC forward, Terungwa ‘Saviour’ Fidelis may be heading to Asian nation of China or Japan in the forthcoming winter transfer season in January 2016.
The 27-year-old striker, who is currently among the top scorers in the Maltese topflight told The Point from his base that he was currently courted by suitors from the Asian continent alongside top African clubs, but was quick to add that he was still under contract with his current employers.
“Yes I have some offers on the table although it might not be Europe; I could be heading to Asia or Africa. The fact remains that I have some good offers on the ground but at the moment, I am still a Mosta player and I have to respect my contract with them because they are good people,” admitted the journeyman striker, who played for about six Nigeria Premier clubs before undergoing trials in Oman and Sudan.
“Even with all the nonpayment of salaries for several months, I still miss the Nigeria Premier League. My prayer is for our teams to strive to get good football administrators and mangers to guide the several talents from the domestic front,” he said.
