But for the timely intervention of some road users, a popular Lagos socilate and beauty entrepreneur, Farida Sobowale, who held a talk of the town wedding two months ago would have committed suicide.
The young lady was prevented by some men after she attempted to jump into the Third Mainland bridge in a video sighted by The Point on Friday.
It was gathered that Sobowale drove her Lexus SUV to the bridge, came down and was about to jump into the lagoon when she was stopped by persons who were there at the time.
The now viral video shows her dressed in black, weeping as she was held by people who rescued her.
The rescuers were seen consoling her and probing the lady on her for attempting suicide even as she kept sobbing.
Sobowale is a beauty entrepreneur well known in Lagos circle.
Sobowale and her man, Demola, held a talk of the town wedding two months ago in Lagos and there are speculations that their marriage has now hit the rock.
