Some residents were reportedly feared killed at the Yelwan Zangam community in Jos North Local Government Area of Plateau State, on Wednesday.
Number of casualties could, however, not be immediately determined as of the time of filing this report but it was gathered that some houses were torched in the attack.
Yakubu Bagudu, a resident, confirmed the fresh attack to Daily Trust, on Wednesday morning.
According to Bagudu, more than 30 people were killed.
He added that security personnel had been deployed to the area.
The Plateau State Police Command had yet to give details of the incident as of the time of filing this report.
