Remo Stars Football Club will be making another attempt this weekend to improve their lot when they face visiting Abubakar Bukola Saraki Football Club in a Nigerian Professional Football League tie.

The Ijebu-Remo side have been girding their loins to remain relevant in the elite league and the match against ABS is a make-ormar outing for the team. But the ABS coach is not threatened by Remo’s empty noise, as they are determined to silence the team in front of their teeming supporters in Sagamu on Sunday.

ABS coach, Henry Makinwa, is working on the goal-scoring tactics of his side, as he is ready to turn the heat on the host team. “I’m working every day to improve my team. I am happy about my boys’ performances so far, but we always want to do more.

Our visitors always played very good game, because they have a good team too,” Makinwa said. ABS, fully enjoying the support of the nation’s Senate President, is blessed with dare-devil strikers, Adeshina Gata, Chuwkwuebuka Amaekwe and Samuel Oyedeji.

The Saraki boys also depend on defence marshals, Ernest Governor, and Boje Abdullahi to stay afloat in the NPFL series.
