To improve employment opportunities in Nigeria and make jobs accessible to job seekers, Gr8jobsng has launched Project Employ, for SMEs, large organisations, multinationals and international companies.
Speaking with The Point, the Chief Executive Officer of Gr8jobsng, Mrs. Omomene Odike, said with the experience she had gained in running U-Connect, an HR consulting firm, for 12 years, she fully understood the recruitment process and how important it was to companies.
She stated, “I understand the recruitment process and how highly important it is to employers to get the right employee, the pain of the recession and what this means to so many Nigerians. We hope to promote employment in Nigeria by offering our recruitment expertise for free to companies and organisations for a few months.”
According to her, with the official announcement of recession in August, and the numerous job cuts that followed the recession, Project Employ initiative has come at the right moment for job seekers and professionals, who are trying to secure jobs or change jobs.
“Aptly named Project Employ, the initiative offers employers the unique opportunity to have their official roles (vacancies) from intern/entry level to senior management, filled at no cost by Gr8jobsng, in a bid to help boost employment in Nigeria and to give job seekers and professionals great opportunities to get hired. The initiative is billed to run its first edition in November and December 2016.
The Head, E-Commerce at Gr8Jobsng, Mr. Bidemi Ladipo, said the employment initiative was created out of the company’s passion for supporting the growth of the Nigerian economy, and its drive to enhance the availability of jobs by connecting job seekers with employers from the comfort of their homes.
