President Buhari swears in three new Permanent Secretaries

PRESIDENT Muhammadu Buhari has sworn in three new Permanent Secretaries of the Federal Civil Service.

The President administered the Oath of Allegiance and Oath of Office on the new Permanent Secretaries in the Executive Council Chambers of the Presidential Villa, in Abuja, on Wednesday.

The ceremony was held before the commencement of the weekly Federal Executive Council meeting.

The new Permanent Secretaries are Udom Okokon Ekenam (Akwa Ibom State); Lydia Shehu Jafiya (Adamawa State); and Farouk Yusuf Yabo (Sokoto State).

Those who attended the FEC meeting were the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha; Head of Service, Folasade Yemi-Esan; and National Security Adviser, Maj. Gen. Babagana Monguno (retd).

Minister of Finance, Budget and National Planning, Zainab Ahmed; Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami; Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed; Federal Capital Territory Minister, Mohammed Musa Bello; and Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Niyi Adebayo, were in attendance.

Others are Minister of Communication and Digital Economy, Ali Pantami; Minister of Power, Abubakar Aliyu; Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige; and Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar Farouq.
