It was a gory sight at the headquarters of the Osun State Police Command in Osogbo, when the state Commissioner of Police, Mr. Fimihan Adeoye, paraded a suspect, Ajibade Rasheed, allegedly caught with fresh human parts.
Adeoye told journalists on Wednesday that the suspect, aged 38, was apprehended by policemen at Olu-Ode area of Osogbo, the state capital.
The police commissioner said, “A fresh head of a woman, intestine, lung, vagina, liver and a bottle containing blood were recovered from the suspect in his car with registration number LSD 987 DJ.”
The victim, who was mute throughout the parade, had in his possession some bottles filled with some substances suspected to the charms.
Adeoye, therefore, said that investigation had commenced to identify the victim.
He also assured that the matter would be properly investigated and that the suspect would be prosecuted accordingly.
