Chief coach of Plateau United, Kennedy Boboye, has vowed not to surrender the leadership position to any club after bouncing back with 2-1 away victory over Sunshine Stars of Akure on Wednesday to completely take charge of the Nigeri Professional Football league.
The Kennedy Boboye side were just recovering from a shock 0-1 to loss to Enyimba last Sunday.
The coach has been having sleepless nights after conceding the three points to the twotime CAF Champions League kings and has adopted new tactics to stay afloat in the series. But they went all out against Austin Eguavoen team to keep their hope of winning the NPFL title intact.
This Sunday, Plateau boys are expected to consolidate the lead with another victory against Gombe United. Gombe fought a good fight against Enyimba Football Club of Aba on Wednesday as they shared a point each during the keenly contested duel. Boboye is highly motivated by this victory and he is already looking forward with great hope against Gombe on Sunday.
