The Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, was at Okuku, the country home of the former Osun State Governor, Olagunsoye Oyinlola, to celebrate the Christmas with him and his family.

The Point gathered that after the brief ceremony, Oyinlola and his wife took the minister, the leader of the All Progressives Congress in Osun and his entourage on an inspection tour of his proposed Alolade Oyinlola University, Okuku.

Other notable chieftains in Osun APC who accompanied Oyetola, the immediate past governor of the state to Oyinlola’s house included Timothy Owoeye, a former Speaker of the State House of Assembly.

This is coming as Oyinlola, a chieftain of the ruling People’s Democratic Party in the state has been out of sight in the activities of his party since the emergence of Senator Ademola Adeleke as the governor of the state.

Oyinlola has not been seen participating publicly in any activity of governing party and neither has the former governor been seen attending any event of Governor Adeleke.

Also, other notable chieftains of PDP, including a former Chairman of the party in South-West, Tajudeen Oladipo, have not been associating with the leadership of the party in the state.

There has been speculation that Oyinlola, Oladipo and other political bigwigs in the ruling party have been sidelined by Adeleke and the executive of the Osun PDP.
