The leader of Ebira community in Lagos State, Alhaji Yakub Momoh, has charged the Ebira community in the state on the need to support the second term ambition of Governor Akinwunmi Ambode.
Yakubu, in a chat with our correspondent, maintained that supporting Ambode for a second term in Lagos is very important if residents of the state are interested in experiencing more dividends of democracy.
The Ebira leader, who also lauded Asiwaju Bola Tinubu on his meritorious political ideology which have brought modernization to Lagos state and others, said success in Lagos state today is a testimony to Tinubu’s political
ideology.
He further described Tinubu as a political leader that has showed his worth in the
country.
“Supporting Ambode and Asiwaju Tinubu is not negotiable for our people. We all see what has happened in Lagos State in the last 16 years. Lagos is currently a state to beat in Nigeria. And all these development were orchestrated by Tinubu and his team. Look at his immense efforts before he handed over to Fashola, look at Fashola’s efforts before he also transmitted government to Ambode, and during Ambode’s era, we have all witnessed what is called true development. So while will a reasonable person not encourage this good work. The entire Ebira community is ready to contribute our quota to ensure continuity in this line with our PVC in 2019. That is why; I have made it compulsory for our people in Lagos to obtain their PVC,” he
said.
Yakubu also appealed to Ebira residents in Lagos to be of good conduct in their endeavours. He said the only way to pay back the hospitality enjoyed from Lagos State Government is to be of good conduct as the law requires and also support the government
positively.
