The African Democratic Congress governorship candidate in Ogun State, Biyi Otegbeye, has predicted that the 2023 governorship poll in the state would be a three-way contest.
According to him, the recent victory of the People’s Democratic Party at a Federal High Court and the Court of Appeal has shown that the governorship battle will be between the APC, PDP and ADC
Otegbeye, while addressing newsmen in his residence dismissed the report of his defection to the APC, saying returning to the APC for him, would amount to political suicide.
He said the ruling APC had envisaged an incontestable governorship poll and had allegedly been deploying huge resources to attack and meddle in the affairs of the ADC and the PDP in the state.
The governorship hopeful said he was optimistic that the ADC would overcome the litigation and contest in the 2023 governorship polls, which he would win.
