A new Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Igbalawole Emmanuel Sotiyo, has been deployed to head Osun State Command.
A statement by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Kehinde Adeleke, on Thursday, disclosed that the NSCDC Commandant General, Ahmed Abubakar Audi gave the deployment approval.
She said the newly deployed Commandant is succeeding Adaralewa Michael who has been promoted to the rank of Assistant Commandant General.
“Commandant Sotiyo hails from Abeokuta, Ogun State; he holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Master’s Degree in Public Administrations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.
“He has attended a remarkable array of courses both home and abroad, establishing him as an expert in security architecture and leadership,” Adeleke said.
