Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has signed the 2022 budget of N155.6bn into law.
While signing the law on Friday, December 24, 2021, Ortom said the provisions of the budget would be strictly adhered to.
The governor, thereafter, promised not to do anything outside of the provisions of the budget.
He also said even if the state needed additional funds, they would seek the help of the state assembly for a supplementary budget.
The governor further stressed that his duty was to implement all the laws passes by the assembly.
In December 2020, Ortom had signed a 2021 budget of N134bn into law.
