Super Eagles’ Kayode Olanrewaju, has become a house-hold in the Austran Bundesliga, as his club, Austria Wien, is seriously contesting the top position in the series.
Olanrewaju’s club is number three on the Austrian table, behind Salzburg and Rheindorf Altach, who are topping with 56 and 49 points respectively.
Olanrewaju’s club is floating with 47 points after 26 matches, chalking up 15 victories and two draws.
The newly invited Super Eagles’ forward featured in Austria Wien’s 5-0 loss against Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga.
Austra Wien’s next home duel is fixed for April 1, against Admira FC and it is not likely that the Nigerian player will be on parade for the club.
Olanrewaju was part of an array of stars recently invited by Coach Gernot Rohr to spearhead Super Eagles’ attack against Senegal and Burkina Faso in the friendly international in London.
