Comedian Solomon Okoh, popularly known as Bowjoint, is set to thrill fans with the maiden edition of his comedy show, which is billed for Sunday at the Agip Hall of Muson Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos.
Tagged ‘Bowjoint Unchained,’ the show will be hosted by comedian Buchi and Osam of Naija FM. And the likes of AY, Okey Bakassi, Gordons, Kenny Blaq, Odogwu, Omobaba, Koffi, Bash, De Don, Dan D Humorous, Destalker and Ajebaba are expected to spice up the show.
Also, there will be performances from Sound Sultan, Reminisce, 9ice, Koker, Airboy, E’ Marshal, O’ Jee and DNTMT. Bowjoint said the show was conceived out of the passion to make Nigerians smile, despite the economic challenges.
“I found out that there is so much to laugh about in Nigeria. Yes, many of us cast the blame on the government of the day, but we can’t complain enough and have things fixed. We only have to laugh things off in this country so we can live longer than expected. People should expect first class comedy and lots of fun.
That is going to be the crux of the show. Watch out for new artistes like O’ Jee, Air Boy and E’ Marshal. This is the maiden edition of Bowjoint Unchained, but hopefully it would be an annual event,” he said.
