The Accountant General of the Federation, Mrs. Oluwayoyin Madein, has expressed the readiness of her office to collaborate with the Nigeria Customs Service to increase revenue for the federal government of Nigeria.
Madein gave the assurance when the Acting Comptroller General of Customs, Bashir Adewale Adeniyi, paid her a courtesy visit in her Office on Wednesday in Abuja.
Madein stated that the Office of the Accountant General would cooperate and collaborate with all the revenue generating agencies to achieve the Federal Government revenue target towards Economic Development
A statement signed by the Director, Press and Public Relations in the OAGF, Bawa Mokwa, quoted the Accountant General as saying that the Nigerian Customs Service is one of the key organisations which the Federal Government rely on for survival, adding that the NCS plays a positive role in revenue generation in the Nigerian economy.
Earlier in his remark, Adeniyi said that his mission was to seek for more support and robust working relationships from the Office of the Accountant General of the Federation.
