Spokesperson to the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has asked residents of the state to ignore news about public holiday in Osun.
Describing such information as fake, Olawale Rasheed, Adeleke’s media man, said the governor has not declared any public holiday.
The statement issued on Wednesday night reads, “The public bureaucracy is urged to ignore news circulating about the declaration of a public holiday.
“Governor Ademola Adeleke has not declared any public holiday.
“The civil servants should ignore the news and continue their lawful duties.”
