New Ebonyi CP assumes duty, seeks collaboration of relevant stakeholders

The new Commissioner of Police for Ebonyi State Command, Anthonia Adaku Uche-Anya has assumed duty on Tuesday.

Uche-Anya, who hails from Nwangele Local Government Area of Imo State is the 27th CP in the Ebonyi.

She holds a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science, Bachelor of Laws degree, Master of Laws degree, and Master in Security and Strategic Studies.

Assuming office at the police headquarters Abakaliki, Uche-Anya pledged to ensure security of lives and properties in the state in synergy with other sister security agencies.

The female police boss said, “I am assuming duty in Ebonyi police command today as the 27th Commissioner. My main business here is to ensure security of lives and properties.

“I enjoin relevant stakeholders to team up with me to ensure maintenance of law and order in the state, harnessing our strength and resources because security is everybody’s business.”
