The Imo State Government has urged youths who benefitted from its N1million empowerment scheme to be prudent in managing and maximising resources.

The government said that the gesture was aimed at launching youths in the state into becoming future millionaires, adding that they must strive to be creative and eschew frivolous spending that could lead them into bankruptcy.

Addressing a section of the youths at the Imo Government House Owerri, the state capital, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Chime Kingsley Uju, urged them to engage in skills that would yield profits for them and make them successful in life.

Uju advised them to see land purchase and sale of agro-products like vegetable oil, palm oil, pepper, tomatoes, poultry and fishery as the best ventures from which they could make profit and sustain themselves to live above poverty level.
