I was in secondary school when I had my first crush. Her name is Juliet Chukas, a girl from Delta State.
Her mother actually wanted us to be engaged and get married after school, but other things set in. However, I had since buried that incidence inside me long ago.
We started dating while I was in SS 1 and that continued into university. I could still remember following her to the University of Benin to check her result. I was living in Delta State but schooling in Jos. When I came home for holiday, we went to Benin together. She was admitted to study Linguistics, instead of Law.
Then, we were two young people who still had a long way to go. After sometimes, she had to move to the United States of America and we did not get in touch for a long time.
Some years later, I got her number and we started talking again, but we had gone different ways at that point. I had started dating someone else and she was dating another too.
She is happily married and lives in America now. She is a very reserved person.
