A yet-to-be-identified motorcyclist has been confirmed dead in a lone accident that occurred in Osogbo, the Osun State capital on Monday.
It was gathered that the motorcycle accident happened at 6:50am near Lameco roundabout, along the Osogbo-Ikirun Road, Osogbo.
The Federal Road Safety Corps Sector Public Education Officer for Osun State Command, Agnes Ogungbemi, attributed the accident to “speed violation.”
According to her, the telephone set belonging to the deceased, and the motorcycle are with the FRSC. She also hinted that the corpse had been deposited at the morgue.
Ogungbemi said, “Phone and the motorcycle involved in the crash were brought to the FRSC base while the corpse was deposited at the UNIOSUN Teaching Hospital mortuary.”.
