Nigerian artistes dominated the 2016 MTV Africa Music Awards, which was held on Saturday in Johannesburg, South Africa.
Afro-pop singer, Ayo Balogun aka Wizkid, won the ‘best male’ and overall ‘best artiste’ award, while he also shared the ‘best collaboration’ win with Dj Maphorsia and Dj Buckz.
Other Nigeria singers who won big at the year’s MAMA were Patoranking, Tekno and Yemi Alade.
