SPECIAL Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Infrastructure, James Adepoju, is dead.
His death comes less than a year after he was appointed Special Adviser by the Governor.
Details of his death were, however, still sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
Adepoju was the Head, Engineering, at Prize Engineering Consultants Limited, before his appointment.
A corporate member of the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE) and registered member of COREN, Adepoju had, prior to his appointment, built a career for himself in Civil Engineering, with broad-based experience in structures, drainage, water supply, irrigation, highway, transportation and flood studies.
He was appointed by Governor Makinde as SA Infrastructure in March 2020.
The Oyo State Government has yet to release an official statement on the development.
