Oyo State Governor, ‘Seyi Makinde, has cast his vote in the on-going Governorship and Houses of Assembly elections.
The governor, who voted at Ward 11, Unit 01, Abayomi Iwo-Road in Ibadan North East Local Council, arrived at the voting unit at about 10.30 a.m, where he was verified and accredited with the BVAS machine.
Speaking briefly with journalists, the governor appreciated the people of Oyo State for coming out, asking others to also troop out en masse to exercise their civic rights.
He also described the voting process as peaceful, commending the security agencies for doing a good job.
