…meets Buhari in Aso Rock
The National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Adams Oshiomhole, met with President Muhamamdu Buhari on Tuesday, a few hours after 51 lawmakers in both chambers of the National Assembly dumped the troubled ruling party.
At the end of his meeting with the President, the APC national chairman told State House correspondents that he was happy with the development, describing the defecting APC lawmakers as mercenaries.
Oshiomhole boasted that the ruling party was not disturbed by the development.
