The remains of the former National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, Vincent Ogbulafor, would be interred in his home town in Abia State on July 28.
Also a national tribute would be held in his honour on July 20 at the International Conference Centre in Abuja.
Ogbulafor, who died in Canada on October 6, 2022, was 73 years old.
The funeral rites were contained in a release made available by his son, Uche Ogbulafor.
Ogbulafor, a distinguished statesman, an astute politician and a philanthropist, served as Special Adviser (Economic Affairs) to the Governor of Abia State, also as Commissioner for Works, Lands, Housing and Transport in Abia State.
He was also a Minister of the Federal Republic of Nigeria (Economic Matters and Special Projects, Presidency), National Secretary and National Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, among other positions of responsibility.
