In the new calendar released by the government, the first term for the 2022-2023 academic session begins on Monday 5th September 2022 and vacates on Friday 16th December 2022.
Announcing the dates on Thursday, Director-General, Office of Education Quality Assurance, Abiola Seriki-Ayeni, enjoined all school owners to adhere strictly to the academic calendar in the state.
Seriki-Ayeni, in a statement made available to newsmen, stressed that the calendar was approved by the State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, for the delivery of quality and sustainable education in the state.
According to the statement, schools below the tertiary level in the State will be resuming for First Term (2022/2023 academic session) on Monday 5th September 2022, and vacate on Friday 16th December 2022.
