One actre ss who has carved a niche for herself in the Nigerian film industry is Jennifer Eliogu, a native of Uke Idemili Local Government Area of Anambra State.
Born on April 30, 1976 into a family of six as the fourth child, Jennifer is a graduate of English Language from Lagos State University.
Breaking into Nollywood was not not s stroll in the park for her. After her debut in 1996 in the movie, Aligom, her effort failed to see the light of the day.

UntitledBut she did not give up. In 1997, she tried again, featuring in House on Fire. That was her break, as she went on to feature in such hit flicks as Jealous Lover, Schemers, Sawam, Power of Love, Bed of Roses, Ingrate, My blood, Submission, and Standing Alone, to mention a few.
Speaking on what makes good fashion sense to her, Jennifer says she loves to look good and simple all the time, especially in casuals. She also uses the MAC range of products all through.
She does not believe in ladies exposing themselves in order to look good or sexy.
“Many Nigerian ladies now move with the trend in the western world, but one thing they don’t realise is that the more mature you get, the more you see that less is more,” she said.
Jennifer is a woman of many parts. In addition to acting, she sits atop a Non-Government Organisation, Initiative for Development, Empowerment and Absolute Stability (IDEAS). She has also ventured into music and released a 12-track album. This is because, unknown to many of her fans, music was her first passion. Her marriage has produced two children, a boy and girl.
