To prevent the breakdown of law and other, the Kano State government on Monday, March 20, 2023, imposed a dawn to dusk curfew, following tensions generated from the collation of results of the Governorship and State Assembly Elections in the state.
A statement issued by the state Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Malam Muhammad Garba, said the decision was to prevent hoodlums from causing chaos in the already tensed situation.
He called on the people of the state to remain indoors as security agents would not spare anyone or group bent on causing trouble.
