THE wife of Oba of Benin, Princess Esosa, has been delivered of a set of quadruplets, three princes and a princess.
Oloi Esosa is the fifth wife of the Oba of Benin, His Royal Majesty, Omo N’ Oba N’ Edo Uku Akpolokpolo, Oba Ewuare II.
The first class monarch announced the arrival of the Princes and Princess at the palace in Benin, at exactly 4.57pm, in the presence of eminent personalities, who attended the short event.
The Oba of Benin had, in May 2020, welcomed his first prince, delivered by Oloi Iyayota, after he ascended the throne.
The 40th Oba of Benin thanked his ancestors for the abundant blessings, while the Presiding Priest of the Holy Aruosa Cathedral, in Benin, Ohen-Osa Igbinoghodua Edebiri, offered prayers.
He prayed to God for good health, wisdom and guidance for the quadruplets, their parents and other members of the royal family of Benin.
Members of the national executive of Immaculate Conception College, Benin, the alma mater of the monarch, led by John Osa-Omoregie, an engineer, also congratulated the Oba of Benin and the royal family on the safe arrival of the quadruplets.
