Journalists assigned to the polling unit of the People’s Democratic Party gubernatorial candidate in Lagos State, Abdul-Azeez Adediran, experienced a temporary glitch as the boat meant to ferry them to the polling unit developed a fault shortly after it took off.

The journalists got off the boat and waited for the next boat that eventually took them to the polling unit
The polling unit is located at Osolu Junior High School, Unit 001, ward G, in Irewe Community in Ojo Local Government of Lagos.
Voting has commenced peacefully in most parts of Lagos State, with some minor disturbances reported in some parts of the state.
Adediran, who was the coordinator of the Lagos4Lagos Movement, had earlier in the month dismissed the possibility of forming an alliance with his counterpart of the Labour Party, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, to oust the ruling All Progressives Congress in Lagos State.
According to Jandor, Gbadebo’s candidacy as Labour Party’s candidate is still disputed in court.
