The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas, has announced the appointment of the member representing Ifo/Ewekoro Federal Constituency of Ogun State, Isiaka Ayokunle Ibrahim, as the new Deputy Chief Whip of the House.
Ibrahim is of the All Progressives Congress and his appointment took effect from Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
He replaces the late Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga of Ikenne, Sagamu, and Remo North Federal Constituency of Ogun State, who passed away on January 15 this year.
Abbas wished Ibrahim, a ranking member of the lower House, a successful tenure.
