At the 2013 edition of the reality television show, Project Fame, it took only Olawale Ojo to stop Patience Edache, popularly known as Immaculate, from winning the grand prize.

For the pretty plus-size singer, however, she is not restricted to a particular fashion style. All she is after is looking good and she works towards it.

“I love being simple with a statement. For a red carpet event, I could be all gown. I love being casual too, when I go for my shows. But if I have to look casual, it must sensible. I love everything that has to do with fashion,” she said.

Unlike many ladies, she does not like pink. According to her, those colours that are too feminine do not appeal to her “I really do not like pink, but I could fly with a very deep pink. I am not really into feminine stuffs; I love manly colours. I like deep purple, red, brown, black and white. I do not like green colours too. If I wear green, it must be that my stylist forces me or there is a function that requires wearing it,” she added.

At her early stage in the entertainment industry, she suffered wardrobe malfunction a lot. She stated that since she did not know things she should not wear as a plus-size, she paid for it.

She added, “Recently too, I could recall that after making plans to wear a trouser for a performance and without a plan B, the zip got spoilt at the show. I had to look for something else to wear, which took a bit of my time again.

“When I see many clothes I like, but do not fit me, I just settle for other things. But so far, I have been very fortunate to find good things that I love.” The mass communication graduate says she cannot do without her wristwatch, car and GSM. But for makeup, she can do without it, provided it is not necessary.

“My car is the most priceless thing I have, because there is too much emotion wrapped around it. I value my phone too; I cannot go a second without it as all my life is in there. I gave out my iPad because I felt it was too big,” Immaculate told The Point.
