The Olu-elect of Ikeja land, Alhaji Samsondeen Adeleye, has described the rumour of his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party as wicked and a misrepresentation of both his antecedents and current life.
Adeleye said his detractors had been contacting politicians in high places and even the Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, to blackmail him by labeling him a PDP member. He said, “I was shocked to hear that some people went to politicians in high places in Lagos and even went to our father, the Oba of Lagos to blackmail me as a PDP member, so that I won’t be given the staff of office.
But their blackmail is wicked, mischievous and a misrepresentation of both my antecedent and present life.” “It is on record here in Ikeja that I have been an unrepentant follower of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu all my life.
